Lucky's Pet Friends

About Us

Lucky is an adorable mixture of Border Collie, Pointer, Thai Ridgeback and Mexican ranch dog. About five and a half years ago Lucky adopted her daddy, Soleil. It was true love from the beginning. They both were hanging out in Mexico, on a ranch, with lots of horses, donkeys, dogs and cats. Lucky loved to run alongside Soleil while he was riding one of the horses. They had a lot of fun on that ranch!

Over the years Lucky's daddy has taken thousands of pictures of her, and other pet friends. Horses and cats are Lucky's favorites, but she likes other pups, birds, turtles, and fish ??? anyone who is friendly and lovable just like her. Our furry friends are so special to us and we naturally want to preserve that love we feel when we see them. Allow us to create a lasting memory of the ones you adore most. Whether it is a formal portrait style sitting or a frisky romp on the beach, we will capture that unique character of your darling pet.

Soleil's love of animals and his passion for photography has led him to branch out and photograph your favorite pets, too, with Lucky's permission, of course. Soleil studied art in France and brings that sensibility to his photography.

Over several decades Soleil has volunteered at animal shelters, worked with animals and rescued many pets. His love and respect for animals is returned in kind because he has a way of putting all animals at ease. He's especially good with difficult horses; they trust him and allow him to get close when others cannot.

No man works alone. Jeannine, Lucky's mommy, is a creative writer who loves to spoil Lucky and help Soleil write Lucky's stories. She is also working on a series of children's books, starring Lucky and some of Lucky's pet friends.
